Thought I'd give everyone here a little update on my week. I've been busy today getting my rig up to speed with a dual monitor setup...
Why? Because I've joined Twitch! The second monitor is basicalyl there so I can read/interact with the chat. Twitch is something I have wanted to get into for some time but I wanted to get an effortless chat monitor going before I did. I used to stream on Picarto where I'd minimize my work every few minutes to check the chat - not ideal.

So I plan to livestream a lot of my work going forward, you can find my Twitch channel at twitch.tv/tahkyn.
I will be streaming the awesome requests people have made for me to draw, as well as other projects and games.

Not only am I taking requests, the wonderful is about to make a picture of Kelly Strawbie for me! >w> 

I can't wait to see what she comes up with.

Honestly, taking requests is one of the best things I've done here on DeviantArt, it's breathing new life into my profile and reigniting my creative spark. 

I stumbled across this awesome group and I though I'd join up and take some requests, to get to know some more people on here, yay!

4) Visual references are encouraged. I'd say unless you are really good at describing your character it's a requirement. 
5) Give me a shout out and share the pic! I give you full permission to use it anywhere, anytime, just give me a shout out and help me build my audience.

...since I updated this, so here's a little look at what's coming up.
December 26 marks the first anniversary of what I like to call my "artistic renaissance." The true beginning of this DeviantArt page (which had languished for many years as a festering sore) and to celebrate, I'm planning a few works.

First Anniversary redraw: Taking one of the first pictures and remaking it to compare my skill level at this stage of the journey. Open to ideas as to what one I should remake.

Watcher Appreciation OC Deviation: A thank you to those who have joined me on this journey. Watchers with OC's will be getting their very own gift art on Christmas Day!

Aside from that, the upcoming projects may include...
SheZow: Guy puts on a ring... gets the superpowers and attire of a girl. Controversial in some circles for God knows why.
Gwen/Cody III It will be my final entry into Total Drama fanart....Not a big fan anymore. It's just fitting that the picture that helped me launch this renewed artistic endeavor gets to become a trilogy.
Regular Show It's been too long and I'm still quite a big fan of RS. Got something planned that may include Cloudy Jane...

2014 Picture to ring in the new year, Possibly Adventure Time (another fave I haven't drawn in ages) again. New intro title sequences for my YouTube speed draws.

There you have it. a new year season as eventful and packed as the last one. Phase 2 is officially a go!

Alright, time to give this journal thingy here a whirl so I can let you, who watch my deviations, know what's coming up in the TahkynZone in the next few weeks.

First up is a return to my first attempt at a crackship, tentatively titled CodyxGwen 2, although I have a more creative title which will be revealed when the deviation launches. Now Complete

Up after that will be more wacky adventures with Mordecai and Rigby, with another Regular Show piece. Benson will most likely reappear in it, although I'm pretty sure this time he'll be alive. Now Complete
